Superintendent, Detroit Public Schools Community District

Superintendent of Detroit Public Schools Community District Dr. Nikolai Vitti will discuss the state of 2020 education amid the COVID-19 crisis, including what it means for students this school year and as they prepare for school in the fall. Dr. Vitti will engage in a one-on-one discussion with Tammy Carnrike, chief operating officer for the Detroit Regional Chamber. Participants will have the option to submit questions to Carnrike during the discussion.

Michigan Speaker of the House

Michigan Speaker of the House Lee Chatfield will discuss the state‚Äôs response to the COVID-19 crisis and the resources available to businesses. Speaker Chatfield will engage in a one-on-one discussion with Sandy K. Baruah, president and CEO of the Detroit Regional Chamber. Robert Gordon, director of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services will discuss the response to the COVID-19 crisis and the resources available. Gordon will engage in a one-on-one discussion with Bob Riney, president of Healthcare Operations and chief operating officer at Henry Ford Health System.
